Leadership Development
Become the leader others want to follow.
The Leadership Challenge Is Real
Does this sound all-too-familiar? You:
Left a meeting feeling like you were spinning your wheels.
Felt frustrated by low engagement and messy team dynamics.
Wondered whether that last team building event had any lasting impact.
Had the sense that your team could perform better but you don’t know where to start.
That’s leadership. It is complicated! And what got you here, won’t get you there. Red Maple leadership development and coaching will help you navigate the complexities of this vital role.
Everyone Deserves to Thrive—Including You
It’s a tale as old as time. You excelled in your role and were asked to be a manager. And then things got complicated. You know how to be a high-achiever, but motivating and aligning people is a whole other skill set. You used to know how to get things done and feel successful. Now there’s drama and interpersonal complexity. Those feelings are real but you don’t have to go it alone.
Our leadership development and management coaching will help you:
Develop your communication skills.
Facilitate more effective meetings.
Set and achieve team outcomes.
Navigate and improve relationships.
What to Expect in a Coaching Conversation
The best coaching conversations are customized so that real change can happen based on your unique goals, context and story. Red Maple coaches in Canada practice the global, gold standard in coaching so your time together will include the following four parts.
1. Setting the Stage
You and your coach will establish a comfortable and trusting environment. You will share what you want to work on or achieve in that session.
2. Exploration and Awareness
Your coach will ask open-ended questions to help you reflect on your goals, behaviours, thoughts, and feelings. You may also decide to use a specific assessment or resource to catalyze your awareness. (Eg., Books, Podcasts, Thought Leadership, Assessment Tests etc.) Together, you will explore challenges, strengths and desired areas for change.
The coach may offer their perspective and expertise but their primary goal is to challenge you to access your own wisdom, creativity and resourcefulness. This is where the deep work of self-awareness and self-evolution happens.
3. Goal Setting and Action Planning
Based on insights gained, you will set intentional, specific goals. You will collaborate with your coach on a plan of action to reach those goals.
4. Accountability and Celebration
You will take the next steps toward your goals. Over time you will reflect on progress, celebrate successes and adjust plans as needed.
